The Australian-Sydney Diocese, as an inseparable part of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, first and foremost expresses its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident in Kočani, as well as hope for the swift recovery of all the injured.
In these moments of national sorrow, we inform our faithful people that our diocesan churches will hold Holy Memorial Liturgies and commemorations for the departed, along with prayers for the healing of the injured and the comfort of their families and loved ones.
With this announcement, we also call upon all our faithful people to come together and participate in these communal prayers in their parish churches. For more information, we kindly ask you to contact your parish clergy, who will provide details regarding the scheduled services.
